Ino is the man of Jackmania. This documentary was originated in the city of La Coruña as a new experiment in the director’s career- with camera in hand, zero funding and a lot of will, he wanted to unite related experiences between people that, in the same way as him, have some moment where House Music has forever changed their lives. These are people that are directly related in their 20-year careers between DJ booths, clubs and recording studios… And that con- tinue believing in this movement.
Jackmania brings together testimonies of more than 50 DJs, promoters and clubbers in different parts of the world that have dedicated their time and effort to create a cultural movement around electronic dance music oriented to the Deep House, more underground sound. It is a 90-minute tribute to the meaning of House for us, the seriousness with which we treat this music, and the respect that we have toward this global movement.
